Penn State DuBois baseball and softball start play in PSUAC playoffs

For the baseball and softball teams at Penn State DuBois, it’s now the wonderful time of year when the regular season has turned to the post season. Having finished out the regular season games in the first half of the week, focus shifted to post season play, with both teams taking part in the PSUAC championship tournaments.

Puerto Rico to PA: Baseball connects Jorge Rodriguez to Penn State DuBois

One thousand seven hundred and thirty-five miles. If you drew a straight line between Bayamón, Puerto Rico and DuBois, Pennsylvania, that is the approximate distance you would get. Although he has had stops in other locations along the way, that distance has been covered by Jorge Rodriquez in his lifetime. His journey has now brought him to Penn State DuBois, where he is a member of the Nittany Lion baseball team.

Penn State DuBois baseball and softball see dramatic finishes during hectic week

There are two things that you can count on when it comes to the baseball and softball seasons in Pennsylvania, weather related changes and games coming fast and often when the weather finally allows games to be played. While packed schedules made for a very busy week, both teams got positive results, which is important as they continue their push towards the PSUAC playoffs.

Baseball and softball seasons at Penn State DuBois flying by

As we arrive at the second full week in April, the seasons for both the baseball and softball teams are progressing at a rapid pace. Conference and division games are coming rapidly for both teams as they work to get themselves in the best position possible for postseason play.

Penn State DuBois basketball teams see split results in final games

Closing out the regular season at home at the PAW Center, the Nittany Lions and Lady Lions of Penn State DuBois saw split results in their final games. Both the men’s and women’s teams played host to Penn State Beaver last Wednesday, in what was the final regular season games for both campuses.
